Konnichiwa, dear friends of wellness!

We’re thrilled to share some heartwarming moments from our recent adventure in the vibrant city of Tokyo. On August 8th and 9th, the CiscoPavelka team, led by the Cisco Global Wellbeing Ambassador, Jessie Pavelka, embarked on an enriching journey to bring the gift of wellbeing to Cisco and their families in Japan.

🗼 Day 1: Empowering People🗼

Day one kicked off with a bang in the Tokyo office! The highlight of the day was a captivating keynote session hosted by Jessie, where the focus was squarely on tackling burnout, a challenge many of us have faced at some point. Jessie shared invaluable insights and practical strategies for managing burnout, leaving the delegates inspired and equipped for a healthier work-life balance.

But that was just the beginning! Whether in the room or joining via Webex, attendees experienced Pavelka’s Four Elements Circuit—a unique, activity-based workshop that brings Pavelka’s philosophy of wellbeing, “The Four Elements,” to life. With a blend of facts, science, and enjoyable activities, it provides everybody with a holistic journey toward personal wellness.

And, of course, our team couldn’t visit Japan without indulging in the delicious local cuisine and soaking up the warm hospitality. The energy of Tokyo’s iconic Shibuya Crossing left us buzzing with vitality!

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Day 2: Family Wellness Fiesta 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

On day two, we celebrated family, togetherness, and wellbeing. It was a lively and energizing family day, where we hosted a family-friendly HIIT exercise session. Families came together to sweat, smile, and bond through the power of movement.

The highlight of the day, however, was the Wellbeing Treasure Hunt and Puzzle—a delightful journey that had families getting competitive and captivated by the magic of wellbeing.

🤝 Leadership Roundtable: A Vision for Wellbeing 🤝

To cap off this extraordinary wellbeing journey, Jessie Pavelka hosted a thought-provoking Leadership Roundtable with the esteemed President and GM of Cisco Japan, Ichiro Nakagawa. Together, they delved into critical topics like compassionate communication, burnout support, fostering wellbeing within teams, and using wellbeing as a tool to build trust.

Mr. Ichiro Nakagawa, President and GM of Cisco Japan, shared his thoughts, saying, “I believe wellbeing must be important for us to make our work and life better. I learned a lot from you.” This heartening testimonial underscores the impact and importance of our mission to spread wellbeing far and wide.

From Tokyo with love, we’re honored to have shared these moments with Cisco Japan. Our journey continues, and we can’t wait to inspire and empower more of you in FY24.

Arigatou gozaimasu! 🌟
