Our Ashlyn Allen explains:

It was an honor to be in the room with Cisco at their new Collaboration Center in Atlanta.

This space is aiming to reinvent the way we work and reimagine the office experience. We were honored to have the support of Ted Kezios, Senior Vice President of People Care, in discussing the power of collaboration and connection in teams. Simon Drury, a business psychologist, introduced the concept of control. Often, when we feel things are going wrong, it’s because we feel we are lacking control of the situation.

Aimee Flores and I took the room on an explorative and interactive journey of The Four Elements of Pavelka. How can we use The Four Elements (Eat, Sweat, Think, and Connect) to show up as better versions of ourselves and impact others?

We ended the morning by hearing from Covenant House Georgia and packed hygiene kits to be delivered to their youth network. Giving back is an opportunity to connect with self, others, and the greater good. Connecting with others helps to improve personal health and strengthen the community.

Thank you, also, for the support from Charlinda Catchings and Hannah Richards to make this day a reality.
