What exactly is EVOLVE and how does it help engineering and IT teams?
EVOLVE is a 90-day, coach-led cohort program that embeds practical habits into daily work (not extra homework). We focus on boundaries, recovery, and manager skills so teams reduce after-hours sprawl, protect focus time, and improve output without adding headcount.
How is this different from mindfulness apps, webinars, or our EAP?
Apps/webinars are content; EVOLVE is behavior change. You get live coaching, manager support,practice tied to sprints/on-call, and pre/post metrics. We also activate your EAP a with warm handoff when appropriate.
What’s the weekly time commitment for engineers and managers?******
- Participants: ~30–60 minutes/week (mix of sessions + simple practices).
- Managers/Tech Leads: ~30 minutes/week in quick team commitments.
- HR/People Ops: Low lift — we provide comms, schedules, and reporting.
How do you measure outcomes (delivery predictability, after-hours activity, burnout)?***
We agree a simple pre/post plan at kickoff:
- Team signals: pulse on energy/focus, intent-to-stay, and perceived workload.
- Manager adoption: boundary commitments and ritual changes.
- Operational proxies (optional): after-hours messages, meeting load, sprint predictability, and churn
How quickly can we launch a pilot and when do we see results?
Typical go-live in 4–6 weeks. Early trend results are often sen by weeks 4–6; full pre/post picture at day 90.
Will this slow us down during a crunch or release train?
No — We have worked with many technology companies and know how challenging it can be. EVOLVE is designed for crunch reality. Sessions are short (15–25 min) and scheduled around ceremonies. If a hotfix/incident hits, we reschedule or deliver async without losing momentum.
How do manager sessions work, and what’s expected of EMs and TLs?
Weekly/bi-weekly 25–30 min micro-labs with a coach. Leaders commit to small, visible behaviors and we provide templates + nudges to make it stick.
Do you work with distributed/remote/hybrid teams across time zones?
Yes. We run time-zone-friendly cohorts, record sessions as needed, and provide async actions so nobody is left behind.
What cohort size do you recommend for an engineering org of our scale?
12–25 people per cohort works best. For pilots in 500–3,000-person orgs, start with 2–3 cohorts, plus a manager track.
What happens if attendance drops or teams get pulled into incidents?**
We expect spikes. We offer catch-up modules, nudges, office hours, and flexible scheduling. We measure progress, not perfection, and keep cohorts moving without shaming non-attendance.
Can you coordinate with People Ops and still respect engineering realities?
Yes. We align with one HR owner and one engineering sponsor. HR gets clean governance and anonymized metrics; engineering gets low-friction delivery grounded in real team rhythms.
How do you protect privacy and handle sensitive feedback?
All reporting is aggregate + anonymized. We adhere to enterprise-grade privacy practices and can provide a security & privacy pack on request. If you wish to keep reporting internal, we can operate with your directional input
Is this therapy or counseling?
No. EVOLVE is a coaching and skill-building program, not a clinical care service. We provide language and warm handoffs to your EAP when someone needs support beyond coaching.
How much change-management effort does this require from our org?
Minimal. We supply comms kits, lane-specific calendars, and simple success metrics. Your lift is choosing cohorts, identifying leads, and showing light executive sponsorship.
What does “people finish energized” actually look like?
